Simons Music Publications is a sheetmusic publisher by composer/arranger Leo Simons.
After years successfully written for its own orchestras and arranged he decided in 2005, already its categorise his work in Simons Music PublicationsThe pleasure with which many orchestra members are played his music works, the disruption for him gave to bring this
at a more general public under the attention. Especially the educational
music works for youth orchestra give much satisfaction at the musicians.
Beside they learn correct articulations and play with much pleasure,
a better way is not there!
Beside original compositions of (light) music for windbands also
arrangements will be made.Moreover a beginning has been made for an
educational serial for youth orchestras and small ensembles. Where it doesn't
matter if you the play it with 7 players or a complete orchestra it always
sounds!!! The light music will be also written for Big Band. On request an a
rrangement can become made there where possibly the strong sides of your
orchestra can be obtained forward.Inform where possible.
Meanwhile already several applications have been treated with successful
performance by: de Regimentsfanfare "Garde Grenadiers en Jagers",
Het Nederlands Theater Orkest, De Scheepjeswolharmonie,
Eendracht en Vrijheid Harelbeke (België), Koninklijke fanfare "Apollo" e.t.c..
Leo Simons studied tuba to the Rotterdam school of music and C
onducting to the Brabants school of music. A study chamber music to the
Royal Flemish music academy in Antwerp. He also followed the
international conductors course of the WMC at Kerkrade and the course
arrange of light music to the Brabants school of music.
This last course also introducd him to the beginning of his
sheetmusic publisher career.
